6. Google Account and Google Business Profile Integration
7Boost may allow an authorised user to connect a Google account or Google Business Profile to the Services using Google OAuth and authorised Google APIs.
Connecting a Google account or Google Business Profile is optional. Before access is granted, Google will display the permissions requested by 7Boost and ask the user to authorise that access.
Depending on the features enabled and permissions granted, 7Boost may access:
- basic Google account identification information;
- Google Business Profile accounts managed by the user;
- business locations;
- business names and descriptions;
- business categories;
- business contact information;
- business addresses and service areas;
- business opening hours and special hours;
- business attributes, services and profile information;
- Google customer reviews;
- existing review replies;
- review authorship and review timing information made available by Google;
- business photos or media information, where enabled; and
- access and refresh tokens required to maintain the authorised connection.
7Boost will only request and use Google permissions that are reasonably necessary to provide the Google-related features selected by the authorised user.
7. How We Use Google User Data
Information received through Google APIs may be used to:
- authenticate and identify the authorised Google user;
- display Google Business Profile accounts and locations available to that user;
- connect a selected Google Business Profile to a 7Boost business workspace;
- display and synchronise authorised business information;
- display Google customer reviews and existing review replies;
- identify reviews that have not received a reply;
- generate AI-assisted review-response drafts;
- allow an authorised user to review, edit, approve or reject a response;
- publish review replies where the user has approved the reply or enabled an authorised automatic-response rule;
- schedule replies according to user-configured timing and limits;
- maintain an audit history of generated and published replies;
- update authorised Google Business Profile information;
- monitor connection status and synchronisation errors; and
- provide, secure and improve the connected features.
Google user data will not be used for advertising, sold to third parties or used for purposes unrelated to the features authorised by the user.
8. AI-Assisted Review Responses
Where an authorised user enables AI-assisted review-response features, review content and relevant business information may be processed to generate a suggested response.
Users may be able to configure different response instructions based on review rating, review content, tone, response length, timing, approval requirements and other business-specific rules.
A response may be:
- generated as a draft for manual review;
- edited by an authorised user before publication;
- approved and published by an authorised user; or
- automatically published where the authorised user has expressly enabled an automatic-response rule.
The relevant business remains responsible for reviewing its configuration and for responses published to its Google Business Profile.
AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions or inappropriate wording. 7Boost does not guarantee that an AI-generated response will be accurate, complete or suitable for every situation.
9. Google OAuth Tokens and Connection Security
Where required to maintain a Google integration, 7Boost may securely store access tokens, refresh tokens, token expiry information, granted scopes, Google account identifiers and selected business-location identifiers.
OAuth tokens are used only through secured server-side systems for the purpose of operating the authorised integration. They are not intended to be exposed publicly or made available through customer-facing browser code.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect stored credentials and integration information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
10. Google API Services User Data Policy
7Boost's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.
Access to Google user data will be limited to providing or improving user-facing features that are prominent and relevant to the functionality requested and authorised by the user.
7Boost does not permit humans to read Google user data unless:
- the user has provided affirmative agreement for specific data to be read;
- access is required for security purposes;
- access is required to comply with applicable law; or
- access is limited to internal operations and the data has been appropriately aggregated or anonymised where required.
11. Disconnecting Google and Revoking Access
An authorised user may disconnect a Google Business Profile from 7Boost through the relevant integration settings where that functionality is available.
A user may also remove 7Boost's access through the security and third-party access settings of their Google account.
Once access has been revoked or the integration has been disconnected, 7Boost will no longer use the revoked Google authorisation to access current Google Business Profile data.
Limited historical records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, audit, dispute resolution, legal compliance or service history. Stored OAuth credentials will be deleted, disabled or rendered unusable in accordance with our applicable retention and security procedures.
12. Data Sharing and Service Providers
We may disclose information to service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the Services, including providers of:

- analytics and monitoring services;
- payment and subscription services;
- customer support tools;
- security and fraud-prevention services; and
- professional, legal or technical services.
Service providers are only permitted to process information for the purposes for which they have been engaged and subject to applicable contractual, privacy and security obligations.
We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, to protect legal rights, to investigate suspected fraud or security incidents, or with the consent of the relevant user.
We do not sell personal information or Google user data.
13. Overseas Processing
Some service providers used in connection with 7Boost may store or process information outside Australia.
The countries in which information may be processed depend on the providers and services used at the relevant time.
Where information is disclosed or made available to overseas service providers, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate contractual, security and privacy protections.
14. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the Services;
- maintain authorised integrations;
- support customer and business operations;
- maintain consent, audit and security records;
- resolve disputes and support requests;
- comply with legal and regulatory obligations;
- enforce agreements; and
- protect our legitimate business interests.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, the relevant business relationship and applicable legal requirements.
When information is no longer required, we may securely delete, anonymise or otherwise render it inaccessible, subject to lawful retention requirements.
15. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical and organisational steps to protect personal information and connected-platform data against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
These measures may include:
- authentication and access controls;
- business and tenant access restrictions;
- server-side credential handling;
- encrypted network communications;
- restricted permissions;
- audit records;
- security monitoring;
- backup and recovery processes; and
- controlled development and deployment procedures.
No internet transmission, storage platform or security system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Cookies, Analytics and Technical Information
Our website and platform may use cookies, logs, analytics technologies and similar tools to operate the Services, maintain user sessions, remember preferences, monitor performance, detect errors, protect security and understand how the Services are used.
Technical information may include browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location, IP address, timestamps, referring pages, pages accessed and interaction information.
You may be able to manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling cookies may prevent some features from operating correctly.
17. Access, Correction and Deletion Requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, irrelevant or misleading.
You may also request deletion of your account or certain information, subject to legal, security, audit, dispute-resolution and retention requirements.
Where information is controlled by a business using 7Boost, we may direct the request to that business or assist the business in responding to the request.
Requests may be submitted using the contact details in this Privacy Policy.
18. Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your personal information appropriately, please contact us using the details below.
We will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable period. We may request additional information where necessary to investigate the matter.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be entitled to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or another applicable regulator.
19. Third-Party Platforms
7Boost may integrate with or provide links to third-party services, including Google, cloud providers, communication services, payment providers, analytics platforms and artificial intelligence providers.
Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies and terms. This Privacy Policy does not govern information that you provide directly to a third party outside the 7Boost Services.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Services, integrations, legal requirements, technology or business practices.
